Loretta Zook
Obituary
Loretta E. Zook, 84, passed away Sunday
(April 29, 2018) at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born Oct. 14,
1933, in American Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Sam and Ella
Leischner Neuman.
A resident of Hesston most of her life,
Loretta was a nurse and very active in Whitestone Mennonite and
Kingdom Life churches. She was a caregiver as a mother, grandmother
and nurse. She married Lloyd Zook on Aug. 16, 1957. He passed away on
July 18, 2017.
Survivors include two sons, David
(Lynnette) of Buhler and Kevin (Marcella) of Hesston; two daughters,
Karen (John) of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Pam (John) of Moundridge;
11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
husband and parents.
A private family graveside service will
take place. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (May 4,
2018) at Schowalter Villa Chapel, Hesston. Visitation will be from 3
to 7 p.m. Thursday (May 3, 2018), with family present from 5 to 7
p.m. at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston.
