Jean Wesley Suderman

Jean Wesley Suderman, 81, retired farmer and farm equipment salesman, woodworker, loving father and grandfather, passed away Thursday (July 3, 2008).

He was born Jan. 8, 1927, in Liberal to Leonard and Christine (Epp) Suderman.

He married Lois Margaret (Wiens) Suderman, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Elaine and Eric Goedde of Valley Center, LaVonne and Joe Blowers of Portland, Ore., and Dwight and Danielle Suderman of McPherson; grandchildren, Carrie Blowers and Seth Blowers, both of Portland, Erin and Lyndon Entz of Newton, Stephanie Goedde of Park City, Rebecca Goedde of Valley Center, and Tyler, Spencer and MacKenzie Suderman of McPherson; and brothers, Leland and Marilyn Suderman of Dallas, Ore., and Emery and Inez Suderman of Cordell, Okla.

He also was preceded in death by his son, David Suderman; parents; and brother, Vern Suderman.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Community Bible Church in Mountain Lake, Minn.

Memorials may be designated to the Mennonite Central Committee, 121 E. 30th St., North Newton, KS 67117.

Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center is in charge of arrangements.
