Barney
'Butch' Flournoy Jr., 60, of Newton, passed away Monday (July 21, 2008) at
Newton Medical Center.
He was born
April 27, 1948, in Pickten, Texas, to Barney F. and Julia Ann (Frank) Flournoy.
They preceded him in death.
He married
Fern Guisinger Regglesen on Oct. 27, 1996, in Greenville, Texas. She survives
of the home.
He was
retired from Raytheon Aircraft. He was a good person who loved people. He
enjoyed car racing, country music and westerns, and he loved John Wayne.
Other
survivors include son, Timothy Leroy and Veronica Flournoy of Brookville, Pa.;
stepson, Gary Guisinger of Salina; daughters, Diane Flournoy, and Brenda Ann
and Todd Wright, all of Willis Point, Texas; stepdaughter, Madeline and Bruce
Large of Anaheim, Calif.; brothers, George Flournoy and Timothy Bruce Flournoy,
both of Greenville, Texas; sister, Carol Adiar of Emory, Texas; nine
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He also was
preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Flournoy.
