Maxine E.
Rossiter, 87, passed away Sunday (July 20, 2008) at Kansas Christian Home in
Newton.
She was born
to Joseph and Isabele (Franklin) Sears on May 28, 1921, in Newton.
She married
Guy Rossiter in Newton. He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 2004.
Maxine loved
to travel, with some fond memories of such places as Alaska. She was loved and
will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Guy Rossiter; brothers, Joe V.
Sears Jr. and John F. Sears Sr.; and a sister, Virginia Sears.
Visitation
will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in
Newton, with family present to greet friends from 5 to 6 p.m.
Services
will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with Chaplain Denny Bell
presiding.
Burial will
take place afterwards at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton

donations may be made to Kansas Christian Home in care of the funeral home.
