Grosse, 28, passed away Thursday (July 24, 2008) at his residence in Walton.
He was born
April 29, 1980, in Newton to Stephen C. and Melody M. (Winter) Grosse.
Jerrod was
employed by Warren Transport in Hesston, where he was a forklift operator.
He enjoyed
the outdoors and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman.
Survivors
include his father, Stephen Grosse of Walton; his mother, Melody M. (Winter)
Grosse of Peabody; brother, Jordan Grosse of Walton; grandmothers, Mary Lou
Hoberecht and Opal Lambert, both of Peabody; and many uncles, aunts and
cousins.
He was
preceded in death by his grandfathers, Herb Winter and Tom Grosse.
Graveside
service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, with
Pastor Jim Pohlman of the Christian Church in Peabody officiating.
Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton is in charge of arrangements.
