Bertha K Lippert
OSAGE CITY -- Bertha K. Lippert, 96, homemaker, died Tuesday (July 1, 2003) at Peterson's Nursing Home in Osage City.
She was born March 13, 1907, to John P. and Anna Sommerfeld Pankratz in Marion County. She married Harlan Lippert Nov. 5, 1939, in Goessel. He preceded her in death May 21, 1999.
She attended one year of school in Lehigh, and then graduated with the third class from Goessel High School. She attended Bethel College for a year. She worked at Methodist Children's Home in Newton before her marriage. She was a member of Southern Hills Mennonite Church in Topeka. She was a member of the Sunshine Club of Lyndon. She had lived in Osage City for the past four years, moving from the family farm in Lyndon where she had resided since 1956.
Survivors include: two sons, Ken Lippert of Osage City and Ray Lippert of Lyndon; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p. m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 6 to 7 p. m. at Feltner Chapel in Lyndon.
Funeral service will be 1 p. m. Monday at Feltner Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in Lyndon Cemetery.
