Dale L. Clegg
LEHIGH -- Dale L. Clegg, 79, retired
employee of the former Hesston Corp., died Wednesday (July 2, 2003)
at his home in Lehigh.
He was born Sept. 21, 1923, to Fines
and Arkabelle Sheaks Clegg in Wichita. He married Betty L. Smith
March 31, 1943, in Wichita. She survives.
He was retired from the U.S. Army. He
lived in Lehigh since 1975, moving from Newton. He was a member of
the Church of the Brethren of Newton. He was a member of the American
Legion of Hillsboro.
Other survivors include: a son, Kevin
Clegg of Lehigh; four daughters, Nancy Roland and Cheryl Hindman,
both of Newton, Catherine Kurczbuch of Sedgwick and Darlene Jost of
Lehigh; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three
sisters, Eva Martin, Catherine Philbrick and Dorothy Cunningham.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p. m.
Friday at Olson's Mortuary in Canton.
Funeral service will be 10 a. m.
Saturday at Olson's Mortuary Chapel.
Burial will be in Lehigh Mennonite
Cemetery in Lehigh.
