Obituary
Harvey Koehn, 93, died Friday (June 15,
2018) at Pine Village in Moundridge. He was born Jan. 19, 1925, in
Verden, Oklahoma, to Mano and Eva (Jantz) Koehn. On Nov. 8, 1945, he
married Erma J. Unruh in Newton and she preceded him in death on Nov.
29, 2013.
Harvey was a member of the Eden Church
of God in Christ Mennonite, rural Burns. He owned and operated his
own mowing and lawn service for many years.
Harvey is survived by his brothers:
Walter Koehn of Livingston, California, Vernon Koehn of Burns and
Marvin Koehn of Hillsboro. He is also survived by several nieces and
nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents;
wife; brothers: Jake, Elmer and Harlan Koehn; and one sister, Alene
Koehn.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m.
Wednesday (June 20, 2018) at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, with
Roland Koehn presiding. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (June
19, 2018) at Petersen Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Eden
Mennonite Cemetery.
