Onalea Jean (Pegel) Kasper
Onalea Jean (Pegel) Kasper,
42, passed away Monday (May 5, 2008) at her residence in Newton.
She was born May 10, 1965, in
Carlisle, Penn., to Charles and Audrey (Brumagin) Wiles. They survive of
Falcon, Mo.
On Nov. 24, 2001, she married
Troy Kasper at Emporia. He survives of the home.
She was a member of the
Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Onalea earned her associate
of science degree from Hutchinson Community College. She worked as an
accountant and a devoted homemaker. Onalea also worked for many years as a
dedicated and loving foster parent.
Onalea loved music and
drawing. She looked forward to spending time with her loving family and many
friends.
Other survivors include a
son, Marcus Pegel of Newton; daughter, Desiree Pegel of Newton; brothers, Craig
Wiles of Mt. Grove, Mo., Kevin Wiles of Falcon and Bradley Wiles of Meriden.
She was preceded in death by
two infant children.
Funeral services will be at a
later date.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Kansas State University Center for Basic Cancer Research in care of
Petersen Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
