John S. Schroeder
John S. Schroeder, 62, of
rural Madison, passed away Saturday (May 17, 2008) at his home.
He was born March 16, 1946,
in Newton to Alfred G. and Kathryn Marie Diehl Schroeder. They preceded him in
death.
He married Vicki Lindsey on
Nov. 12, 1983, at Greenwood. She survives of the home.
He was a farmer and stockman
since 1972. In his early years, he was in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic.
Other survivors include
sisters, Hedy M. Williams of Dickinson, N.D., and Marilyn S. Davis of Madison.
Cremation is planned, with a
private inurnment at a later date at Andrews Cemetery southwest of Madison.
Memorials will be designated
at a later date. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home in Emporia is in charge of
arrangements.
