Shawn D. Ormsbee
Shawn D. Ormsbee, 26, died
Sunday (May 18, 2008) in Newton.
He was born on Feb. 13, 1982,
in Eugene, Ore., to Robin Hardin and Rick Ormsbee.
On March 20, 2004, he married
Violet Frabel in Springfield, Ore. She survives of Newton.
Shawn enjoyed fishing,
hunting and the outdoors. While he resided in Oregon, he also enjoyed seasonal
mushroom picking.
He also is survived by three
children of the home, Scott Frabel and Josh and Heaven Ormsbee; brother, Cody
Hardin of Oregon; twin sister, Kimberly Ormsbee of Newton; and sister, Sarah
Hardin of Cottage Grove, Ore.
He was preceded in death by
his mother.
Memorial service will be at
10 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Newton. The Rev. James Anderson
will preside.
There will be no burial at
this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations may be made to the Ormsbee children in care of Violet Frabel.
Donations can be sent to First Bank of Newton or left with Broadway Colonial
Funeral Home in Newton, which is in charge of arrangements.
