Richard E. Suderman
Richard E. Suderman, 79,
passed away Sunday (May 25, 2008) at Galicia Heart Hospital in Wichita.
He was born April 18, 1929,
in Newton, the son of Herman and Edna Ensz Suderman.
He had been a dairy farmer.
He had lived in Newton, then in Inman from 1961 to 1989, then moved to
Hutchinson.
On May 23, 1952, he married
Mildred Frey at Newton. She survives.
He was a member of Bethel
Mennonite Church in Inman. He was a member of the Holstein Dairy Association
and a past member of the Mennonite Men's Choir.
Survivors include three
daughters, Cheryl Wiens and husband, Loren, of Buhler, Debra Whitermore and husband,
David, of Wichita and Deann Wiggers and husband, Terry, of Wichita; a brother,
James Suderman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Brett Wiens,
Danae and husband, Justin Osborn, Tara Wiens and Brandon Wiggers.
He was preceded in death by a
brother, Alvin, and a sister, Sara Unruh.
Friends may call from 2 to 8
p.m. today at Buhler Mortuary in Buhler, with the family greeting friends from
6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at
10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Mennonite Church, with pastors Alden Dick,
Marshall Anderson, and LeNora Klassen Duerksen presiding.
Burial will be in North Inman
Cemetery in Inman.
