Curt L. Regehr
NORTH NEWTON - Curt L.
Regehr, 92, passed away Sunday (April 13, 2008) at Kidron Bethel Nursing Home
in North Newton.
He was born Oct. 17, 1915, in
Inman, the son of George and Mary Pauls Regehr.
A lifetime resident of the
Inman area, he lived in North Newton the last two years. He had worked as a
contractor and carpenter.
On May 11, 1941, he married
Martha Janzen in Inman. She passed away on June 10, 1949.
On Oct. 12, 1952, he married
Marie Ediger. She survives.
He was a member of Bethel
Mennonite Church in Inman and various church boards.
Survivors include four sons,
Jerry H. and wife, Sandra, of Wichita, Donovan and wife, Laurie, of Halstead,
Curtiss and wife, Tammy, of Whitewater and Wesley and wife, Beth, of Hesston; a
daughter, Judy Collicott and husband, John, of Blair, Neb.; a brother, Arnold
and wife, Fern, of Inman; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death
by two brothers, Art and George; five sisters, Linda Pankratz, Anna
Heidebrecht, Betty Ediger, Kathryn Pankratz and Sara Thiessen; and one
grandson.
Friends may call from 2 to 8
p.m. today at Buhler Mortuary in Buhler, with the family greeting friends from
6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 10
a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Mennonite Church with Pastor Alden Dick presiding.
Burial will be in North Inman
Cemetery in rural Inman.
