Lena Good
HESSTON - Lena Good, 86,
passed away today (April 22, 2008) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born April 6, 1922,
in Mullinville to Louis and Lodie (Wadel) Schmidt.
She married Lowell Good on
Aug. 20, 1948, in Elida, Ohio. He survives of Hesston
She was a homemaker and
member of Hesston Mennonite Church.
Other survivors include son,
Bob (Twila) Good of Hesston; daughter, Ronalda (John Allen) Moore of Whitsett,
N.C.; brothers, Vernon Schmidt of Elida, Chet Schmidt of Texas, James Schmidt
of Hillsboro and Irvin Schmidt of Broken Arrow, Okla.; sister, Geneva Spicer of
Greensburg; grandchildren, Rob (Sonja) Good of Hesston, Matt Good of Aurora,
Ill, Stephanie Moore of Whitsett and Katherine Moore of Ashburough, N.C.; and
great-grandchildren, Danika Good and Ashlynn Good, both of Hesston.
She was preceded in death by
five brothers, Virgil, Cecil, John, Melvin and Merle Schmidt.
Visitation will be from 4 to
8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston, with family present from 6
to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 3
p.m. Thursday at Hesston Mennonite Church, with Pastor John Murray and Pastor
Cheryl Hershberger officiating.
A private burial will take
place.
Memorials may be made to the
church music fund or the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
