Shawn Marie Remington
STERLING - Shawn Marie
Remington, 42, died Thursday (April 24, 2008) at her home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1965,
in Newton, the daughter of Gene and Karen Perry Remington. She was a graduate
of Newton High School. She had attended Bethel College in North Newton. She was
a member of First Baptist Church in Newton.
She married George Pearson;
he died in October of 2000.
Survivors include her mother
Karen DeVries and stepfather, William Harrist of Hutchinson; a sister, Jean
Parker of Hutchinson; a brother, Jason Hanke of Wichita, one nephew; and two
nieces.
She was preceded in death by
her father, Gene.
Cremation is planned.
Memorial services will be at
11 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
