Marion Leroy Ragland
CORONA, Calif. - Marion Leroy
Ragland, 78, of Corona, passed away Feb. 19, 2008, at his home.
He was born Dec. 17, 1929, in
Sterling, the son of Walter and Dora Ragland. They preceded him in death.
He lived for one year in
Halstead and for 14 years in Corona. He was a loving husband and father who
loved spending time with family and his dogs. He enjoyed fishing and working on
his home.
Survivors include his
granddaughter, Veronica Ishii and husband Kyle; four step-daughters, Patricia
Naqi of Los Angeles, Judy Perez of Florida, Debra Murphy of Fresno, Calif., and
Carmen Perez of Genoa, Ill.; nieces, Linda Heitz and husband, Richard, of Ponca
City, Okla., Marilyn Krehbiel and husband, Gene, and Toni Ragland, all of
Wichita; and nephews, Dr. Charles Ragland and wife, Chick, of Kansas City,
Kan., Charles Hanley, Tom Hanley, Bill Hanley and wife, Sharon, and John
Hanley.
He was preceded in death by
his wife, Gloria (Hope); a grandson, Austin; a sister, Wilma June Mace; and
brothers, Charles and Lester Ragland.
Services were recently held
in California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer
Society.
