Beatrice Helen Dey
Beatrice Helen Dey passed
away Thursday (March 20, 2008) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
She was born April 15, 1927,
in Gansevoort, N.Y., the daughter of Mildred and Gordon E. Ellethorpe. They
preceded her in death.
Beatrice was a former member
of the Order of the Eastern Star in Newton and Glen Falls, N.Y. She enjoyed
spending time at the Newton Senior Center with her friends. While in Newton,
she was active in various chapters for government employees and officials.
She married Max E. Dey on May
18, 1954, in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, Bob
Dey and wife, Jeanie, of Garden City; brother, Edward G. Ellethorpe Jr. and
wife, Beverly, of Hudson Falls, N.Y.; and sisters, Marilyn A. Swears of
Gansevoort and Margaret L. Porter, both of Gehring Springs, N.Y.
She also was preceded in
death by three brothers, Don, Hubert and Max.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no service at this time.
