Daniel Cornelius Voth
Daniel Cornelius Voth, 71,
died Saturday (March 22, 2008) at Asbury Park in Newton.
He was born Feb. 18, 1937, in
Newton to Edward and Bertha (Voth) Voth. They preceded him in death.
He attended schools in
Newton, graduating from Newton High School in 1954. He was employed as a
laborer by Collins Bus Co.
Daniel married Margaret
Jesseph on June 5, 1960. She survives of the home in Newton.
He loved animals, was good
with his hands, especially with woodworking and painting, was thoughtful and
caring and an all-around nice guy. He was a KU Jayhawks and Washington Redskins
fan.
Survivors include sons, David
and Vicki Voth of Hutchinson, Terry and Angela Voth of Newton and Daniel C. Jr.
and Audra Voth of Eureka; daughters, Goldie and Stephen Ketelbaeter of Cornell,
Wis., and Spring and Mark Tingen of Moundridge; sisters, Ella and Art Wiebe of
Hillsboro and Lois Slender of Emporia; brother, Harold and Marcene Voth of
Fresno, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon
to 8 p.m. today at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton, with family greeting
friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 2
p.m. Tuesday at Newton First Church of God, with Pastor Brian Curran
officiating.
