'Sonny' Stucky Jr.
WICHITA -
Dan T. "Sonny" Stucky Jr., 66, of Wichita, passed away Sunday (Feb.
3, 2008) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis campus in Wichita.
He was born
Feb. 18, 1941, in Halstead to Daniel T. and Anna M. (Krehbiel) Stucky.
He graduated
from Moundridge High School in 1959.
He married
Linda K. Helmer on July 22, 1973, in Moundridge. She survives of Wichita.
He was a
Wichita resident for five years, moving from Newton. He was an employee at AGCO
in Hesston and a member of Word of Life Ministries in Wichita.
Other
survivors include a son, Christopher G. Stucky of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter,
Danielle T. Keenan and husband, Don, of Wichita; granddaughter, Chaeli Keenan
of Wichita; brothers, LeRoy Stucky of Inman and Edwin D. and Myron
"Mike" Stucky, both of Moundridge; and sisters, Helen Montgomery and
Joyce Dirks, both of Moundridge, and Marianne Janzen of Rapid City, S.D.
He was
preceded in death by a son, Justin Stucky; a brother, Harvey Stucky; and a
sister, Ethel Stucky.
Visitation
will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family
present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral
service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Word of Life Ministries, with pastors Rob
and Debbie Rotola presiding.
Burial will
be at Mound Township Cemetery in Moundridge.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Word of Life Ministries Missions in care of the
funeral home.
