Michael D.
Dains, 48, passed away Wednesday (Feb. 6, 2008) at his Newton residence
He was born
Aug. 7, 1959, in Vernon, La., to Perry and Leona Mae (Jones) Dains.
He worked
for Norcraft in Newton as an assembler.
Michael was
known for his handyman skills. He greatly looked forward to spending time with
his loving family and many friends.
Survivors
include daughter, Niki Dains of Newton; sisters, Leanne Gall of Dodge City,
Jeri Eungard of Texas and Wanda and Curtis McDonough of Newton; brother,
Richard Dains of Texas; father, Perry Lewis Dains; significant other, Linda
Lally of Newton; and niece Jasmine McDonough and nephew Tyler McDonough, both
of Newton.
He was
preceded in death by his mother, Leona Mae (Jones) Mount.
Visitation
will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
Funeral
service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with Pastor
Sherman Sack officiating.
Burial will
be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Memorial
contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in care of the
funeral home.
