Lois I. Hershberger, 82, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 20, 2007) at Schowalter
Villa in Hesston.
She was born
Dec. 24, 1924, in Hesston to Jacob R. and Grace Darling (Cooprider) Diller.
On June 30,
1946, she married Glenn Leroy Hershberger in Hesston. He preceded her in death.
She was a
member of Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston. She worked for Hesston Corp.
from 1950 to 1988.
Survivors
include a daughter, Glenna and Steve Lowry of Topeka; and brothers, Robert and
Marcella Diller, Ivan and Doris Diller, and Eugene and Donna Diller, all of
Hesston; a brother-in-law, Howard and Martha Hershberger; and sisters-in-law,
Pearl Rodgers of Hesston, and Gladys Hershberger and Grace Hershberger, both of
Goshen, Ind.
Visitation
will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston with family
present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial
service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Whitestone Mennonite Church in Hesston
with Pastors Mark Miller and Wendy Miller officiating.
A private
family burial will take place.
Memorials
may be made to the Schowalter Villa Good Samaritan Fund or the Jacob R. and
Grace Cooprider Diller Scholarship Fund at Hesston College in care of the
funeral home.
