Florence F. Voth
FULLERTON, Calif. - Florence F. Voth,
78, died Dec. 1, 2007, at Alternative Senior Care, Fullerton, Calif.,
formerly of Buhler.
She was born Dec. 30, 1928, in Walton
the only child of Albert and Selma Penner Hiebert.
On Oct. 4, 1947, she married Wilmer A.
Bud Voth at Buhler Mennonite Church.
They moved to California in 1952 where
they raised their four children. She worked for the school district
for several years as a cafeteria worker and a bookstore clerk. In
1989, they returned to Buhler to retire. A year after her husband
passed in 1998, Florence's family moved her back to California.
Survivors include: two sons, Tom,
Orange, Calif., and Michael, Meredian, Ind.; two daughters, Connie
Simms, Mission Viejo, Calif., and Gloria Hudnall, Tucson, Ariz.; nine
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday
at Buhler Mennonite Church, with Pastor Robert Dalke presiding.
Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday with the family present
from 6 to 8 p.m. at Buhler Mortuary. She will be laid to rest next to
her husband at Buhler Municipal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has
established a fun for VITAS hospice. Memorials may be sent to the
Mortuary, 120 N. Main Buhler, KS 67522.
