Odena C. Miller
HESSTON -- Odena C. Miller, 74, of Hesston, a homemaker, died Friday (March 12, 1993) in Halstead Hospital.
She was born Feb. 13, 1919, in Jet, Okla., to Daniel J and Eva Zimmerman Yoder. On Aug 19, 1937, she married Freeman J. Miller in Hutchinson. He survives.
She moved to Hesston in August from Crystal Springs. She was a member of the Crystal Springs Mennonite Church.
Other survivors include a son, Edwin of Kalona, Iowa; a daughter, Maris Schroeder of rural Moundridge; three brothers, Phil Yoder of Elkhart, Ron Yoder of Wichita, and Robert Yoder of Goddard; five sisters, Alma York of Nash, Okla., Doris Selley of Bella Vista, Ark., Evelyn Holmes of Wichita, Donita Parsons of Ness City and Joan Freeman of Liberal; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a. m. Monday at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston. The funeral service will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday at Crystal Springs Mennonite Church, with the Rev. David Norris officiating. Burial will be in the Crystal Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p. m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.
