was a 1957 graduate of West High School in Wichita. On June 8, 1958,
she married the love of her life, G. Dwaine Dunn.

Janell's children and grandchildren
were the joy of her life. She and Dwaine cherished the times they got
to spend playing with and supporting family. They were usually found
on the sidelines or in the stands of their children's and
grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
Janell also enjoyed camping, getting
together with friends, playing games and making crafts. One of the
highlights of her month was getting together with her "Grannies"
group for laughing and sharing stories about her kids and grandkids,
and don't forget the pictures. Janell was an active member of the
First Christian Church in Sedgwick and Broadway Christian Church in
Wichita as youth sponsor, Sunday School and VBS teacher, children's
choir director and adult choir member.
While raising her family, Janell worked
in the school districts in Sedgwick and Wichita. She worked in food
service and the office in Sedgwick's school system before
transferring to the Wichita school system, where she worked at
Linwood and Rea Woodman schools. She then worked in the
administrative center for the Wichita school district in the
personnel department before retiring as an administrative assistant
to the superintendent.
A celebration of life was held with
visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday (Sept. 9, 2018); service was at
10 a.m. Monday (Sept. 10, 2018), both held at the First Christian
Church, 514 N. Franklin, Sedgwick. Graveside service followed at
White Chapel Cemetery, 1824 N. Oliver, Wichita.
