Obituary
Beulah I. Arrowsmith, 98, died
Wednesday (Sept. 12, 2018) at Asbury Park, Newton.
She was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Los
Angeles to Howard Thornton and Blanche Viola (Kier) Creasser.
She was a lifelong Bentley area
resident prior to moving to Newton in 2009.
She was a homemaker and seamstress and
she made several wedding dresses for family members. She also enjoyed
needle work and crochet. She was a member of the Bentley Cafe Koffee
Klatch.
On Nov. 11, 1941, she married Donovan
Lee Arrowsmith in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death April 27,
1991.
Survivors include sons, Howard
(Carolyn) Arrowsmith of Goessel and Gail (Jo) Arrowsmith of Newton;
daughter, Doneva Arrowsmith of Newton; six grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by
brothers: Ansel, Howard and Harold Creasser; and a great-grandson,
Christopher Arrowsmith.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m Friday
(Sept. 14, 2018), with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8
p.m. at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Funeral service will be 10
a.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 2018), also at Kaufman Funeral Home. Burial
will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.
