Donovan L. Arrowsmith
BENTLEY -- Donovan L. Arrowsmith, 73, died Saturday (April 27, 1991) at the Bethesda Home in Goessel.
Funeral service will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the Rev. LeRoy Bott officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Bentley.
Born Jan. 16, 1918, at Bentley, he was the son of Ray S. and Hazel Phoebe Fry Arrowsmith. He married Beulah I Creasser on Nov. 7, 1941, at Los Angeles Calif. She survives. A lifetime Bentley resident, he was a retired automobile and truck mechanic.
He was a U. S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include two sons, Howard R. and Gail W., both of Newton; a daughter, Doneva L. Yeager of Wichita; two brothers, Stanley R. of Rogers, Ark., and Richard J. of Sedgwick; three sisters, Elizabeth R. Learned and Hazel M. Black, both of Wichita, and Helen L. Tinkham of Glendale, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p. m. Tuesday at the Kaufman Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to the Bethesda Home in care of the funeral home.
