Obituary
Susan Marie Hiebert Royer, 70, died
Friday (Sept. 7, 2018) in Topeka, surrounded by family. She was born
Oct. 11, 1947, in Newton to Marion L. and Martha Klassen Hiebert. She
was the second oldest of three children.
Susan graduated from Newton High School
in 1955 and married Jerry Royer in Newton. He worked for the Santa Fe
Railroad and they celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Survivors include husband, Jerry
"Walter" of Topeka; son, Noel Royer of Topeka; daughter,
Marie Morris of Topeka; six grandchildren; and sisters, Marcia
Schmidt of Wichita and Anita Harder of Newton.
Susan was preceded in death by her
parents; and younger brother, Gerald Eugene Hiebert.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial
service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 15, 2018) at Topeka
First Assembly Church.
