Obituary
Patrick H. McGinn, 86, died Friday
(Sept. 14, 2018) in Halstead.
He was born Feb. 8, 1932, in Sedgwick
to Hayes P. and Agnes (Schaplowsky) McGinn.
He was a lifelong Sedgwick and Halstead
resident and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during the
Korean War and worked maintenance at Vulcan Chemical, Wichita.
On Dec. 22, 1952, he married Irma
Arlene McGinn in Wichita. She preceded him in death on May 28, 2014.
He is survived by sons, Steve and Rick
McGinn, both of Halstead; daughter, Jeanne McGinn of Lehigh; brother,
Dr. Larry McGinn of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Agnes Johns of
Wichita and Martha Jane Lindsey of Spring Hill; eight grandchildren;
and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son,
Brian; daughter, Linda; sisters, Doris Reynolds and Ann Seidle; and
brothers: James, Robert, Paul, Donnie and Hayes Jr.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m.
Tuesday (Sept. 18, 2018) at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. The
Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Halstead. The Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 19,
2018), also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Jeffery
Fasching officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.

Catholic Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
