Obituary
Curtis E. Keazer, 83, died Wednesday
(Sept. 26, 2018) at his Newton residence. He was born July 18, 1935,
in Marion to Herbert B. and Elvira (Rosier) Keazer. On Jan. 20, 1955,
he married Marjorie Whomans in Marion. She survives of the home.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
Church in Newton and a retired heavy equipment operator.
Curtis is survived by his wife,
Marjorie; two sons, Kim and his wife Verlene Keazer and Dale and his
wife Alice Keazer; two daughters, Melanie and her husband Larry Love
and Lynne Richert; and one sister, Mary Jo Kitterman. Curtis is also
survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents;
brother, Jack Keazer; two sons, Bryan Keazer and Mark Keazer; and one
grandson, Christopher Keazer
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday
(Sept. 28, 2018) at St. Mary Catholic Church in Newton, with The
Reverend Nicholas Voelker as celebrant. Recitation of the Holy Rosary
will precede the Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in
the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Newton. There will be no public
visitation time.

Keazer to help offset expenses and may be left with Petersen Funeral
Home.
