Obituary
MOUNDRIDGE - Douglas Cutting, 66, died
Monday (Oct. 8, 2018) at his residence.
He was born Sept. 20, 1952, in Wichita
to Dean F. and Beulah M. (Beins) Cutting.
Doug was a 1970 graduate of Halstead
High School and he went on to earn an associates of arts degree from
Cowley County Community College, where he played basketball.
He was a Moundridge resident for the
last 23 years, previously residing in Newton and Halstead.
He retired from Moridge Inc., where he
worked in shipping and receiving.
On Sept. 25, 1976, he married Jo Anna
Hofmann in Burrton. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include sons, Clayton
Cutting of Manhattan, Evan Cutting of Lawrence and Michael (Jessica)
Cutting of Hays; grandchildren, Kash and Ryann Cutting of Hays;
brothers, Dan (Karen) Cutting of McPherson and Dave (Jean) Cutting of
Moundridge; and sister, Deanna (Michael) Tarman of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Cremation has taken place and a
Celebration of Doug's life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be given to the Heartland
Weimaraner Rescue in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
