Jack A. Proctor Sr.
LAWRENCE - Jack A. Proctor
Sr., 85, died Wednesday (Oct. 3, 2007) at his home in Lawrence. He was born on
June 6, 1922, in Atlanta, Ga. He retired from the Boeing Aircraft Company in
Wichita. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, as a tail gunner
on the B52 "Patrica/War Weary" over Saipan. He married the love of
his life Delores M. Laswell on June 12, 1947, in Newton. She preceded him in
death on Nov. 14, 1997. Survivors include a son, Jack A. Proctor Jr., of of
Lawrence; a daughter, Susan Spencer of Lawrence; four grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
No services are planned for
Jack Proctor Sr. Cremation has taken place.
