James Michael 'Mike'
Wehmuller
GUNBARREL, Colo. - James
Michael "Mike" Wehmuller, 36, of Gunbarrel, died Friday (Oct. 5,
2007) in Longmont, Colo. He was born July 2, 1971, in Newton to Kenneth and
Patricia Ann (Sloan) Wehmuller. Mike graduated from El Reno High School in
Oklahoma. He then graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1994, and the
University of South Carolina with a master's degree in health administration in
1996. He married Sammi Gorman on May 14, 1994, in Oklahoma City. Mike moved to
the Gunbarrel area in May 2005 from South Carolina.
He was the director of
Longmont United Hospital's Home Care Division. Mike also was a member of the
St. Vrain Rotary Club.
Mike enjoyed racquetball,
computers and his family. He will be remembered as a loving son and father and
a caregiver.
Survivors include his wife
Sammi of Gunbarrel; a son, Caleb Michael Wehmuller; a daughter, Jordan Sydney
Wehmuller; his father, Ken Wehmuller, and his wife Charlotte; his mother, Pat
Osborne, and her husband Herb; a brother, Eric Wehmuller, and his wife Lauri;
three stepsisters, Vicki Swarr, Laurie Salinas and Valerie Parker; his
mother-in-law, Barbara Brittain; and his father-in-law, Jack Gorman.
Funeral services were Tuesday
at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont, Colo. Interment was in the Ryssby
Cemetery.
