Obituary
Lawrence Eugene Conrady, 58, passed
away on Monday (Oct. 29, 2018) at his home in Sedgwick, surrounded by
his family. Larry was born April 21, 1960, in Newton to Paul and Mary
(Andra) Conrady.
Larry grew up in Sedgwick and attended
Sedgwick High School and Hutchinson Community College. He worked at
Excel as a welder until illness caused him to retire. Larry enjoyed
mowing, working on automobiles and, most of all, spending time with
his children, grandchildren and all of the Conrady family. Larry was
a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Mary
Conrady of Sedgwick; sons, Jared and Steven Conrady, both of Wichita;
daughter, Caitlin Schmit of Fowler, Colorado; brothers, Daniel
(Linda) Conrady of Wellington and David (Jeanine) Conrady of Overland
Park; sisters: Deborah Conrady of Sedgwick and Catherine Conrady,
Sharon (Vincent) Tafolla, Karen (Junior) Mosqueda and Peggy (Mark)
Phillips, all of Newton; grandchildren: Baylee, Blake, Luke and Levi;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father,
Paul Conrady.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be
prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 1, 2018) at Petersen Funeral Home
Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (Nov.
2, 2018) at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with The Reverend Nicholas
Voelker officiating. Private family burial will be at St. Mary's
Cemetery.
