Hilaria (Lila) M. Arreguin
Hilaria (Lila) M. Arreguin,
74, died Thursday (Oct. 25, 2007) at Kansas Christian Home in Newton. She was
born Oct. 21, 1933, in Newton to Eusebio and Leonarda (Rodriguez) Arreguin. She
enjoyed reading as a pastime. She was a caring, kind and faithful person who
loved her family and friends. She will be missed by family and friends. Through
her many illnesses she never complained. Survivors include her mother; a
sister, Lucy Cousins of Newton; a niece, Shirley Duarte of Denver.; a cousin,
Alfred Ornales of El Paso, Texas; and a nephew, Tony and Andrea Arreguin of
Newton.
She was preceded in death by
her father; and brothers, John, Tony and Gus Arreguin.
Graveside service has
occurred. Burial was in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the
American Cancer Society, St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Harvey County Humane
Society in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
