Sophie Ann Neufeld
MOUNDRIDGE -- Sophie Ann Neufeld, 63, seamstress and homemaker, died Monday (Nov. 11, 2002) at her home in Moundridge.
She was born Sept. 11, 1939 to Peter D. and Helen R. {Doerksen) Heidebrecht in McPherson. They preceded her in death. She married Menno Neufeld Sept. 6, 1961, in McPherson. He survives of the home.
She was a Moundridge resident for 41 years and a lifetime McPherson County resident. She was a member of Newton Bible Church.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Jeanette Suther of South Hutchinson, Brenda Neufeld of Joplin, Mo., and Denise LeRoux of Alta Vista; a brother, Pete Heidebrecht Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Tillie Koehn of Dodge City, Bernice Schletzbaum of McPherson, Ketie Redger of Durham and Shirley Dornberger of Salina; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p. m. Wednesday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p. m. at Moundridge Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at North Inman Cemetery in Inman.
Memorial service will be a 3 p. m. Thursday at Newton Bible Church with Pastors Ted Veer and Don Myer officiating.
