Russell Kirk

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Russell Kirk, 75, died at his home Aug. 16, 2007, following a brief illness. He was born June 5, 1932, in Walton to Homer and Farie Stratton Kirk. He was a graduated of Kansas State University, a Korean Army veteran and was a retired electronics engineer. Survivors include by his wife, Kay, two sons, a daughter, and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald. A celebration of his life will be held Oct. 13 in Cupertino, Calif.
