Beverly Faith Darling

GOLDRIVER, Calif. - Bev Darling, 76, of Gold River, Calif., passed away peacefully on July 12, 2007, at her home.

Loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, she was born in Newton to Frank and Linda Janzen. Darling was a medical laboratory technician, homemaker and mother of four boys. She retired from the first of these vocations in 1982 but never from the other two. She had a passion for gardening, traveling, volunteerism and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Steven of Gold River, Corbin and daughter-in-law Lisa of Golden, Colo., Trenton and daughter-in-law Kristin of Colorado Springs, Colo., and David and daughter-in-law Michiko Toki of San Francisco; and three grandchildren, Clare, Jackson and Tesslyn.

Preceding her in death were her two sisters, Phyllis Abbey and Betty Robinson.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sutter Cancer Center in Roseville, Calif., via Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation or to the Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross.
