Obituary
Elaine Mavis Dragert Jones, 65, died
Friday (Dec. 7, 2018) at her home. She was born on Jan. 22, 1953, to
Carl and Viola Dragert.
Elaine was employed at Newell's Truck
Stop for 35 years, as well as CJ'S Pancake House for two years. She
was known citywide as one of the most efficient and friendly
waitresses in Newton.
On Sept. 22, 2003, she married Danny B.
Jones; he survives. She is also survived by stepson, Danny B. Jones
Jr.; stepdaughters, Tiffany Hollarn and Roni Jones; and 15
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her
parents; son, Nickie Twain Dragert; brothers, Earl, Leroy and Russell
Dragert; and sisters, Dorothy Dragert Schroeder and Dolly Ann Dragert
Sullivan.
Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday (Dec. 15, 2018) at Hillcrest Community Church, 4431 W. 12th
St., Newton.
