Wilber German
Obituary
Wilber H. German, 68, of Hillsboro,
died Saturday (Nov. 10, 2018) at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice,
Wichita. He was a crew chief for AGCO, Hesston.
He was born May 31, 1950, in McPherson,
the son of Harvey F. and Geneva M. (Greenwood) German. He was a
college graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a member of the Canton United
Methodist Church, Canton American Legion Post #192, the Masonic Lodge
and was an ordained minister.
On Sept. 29, 1990, he married Sharon K.
Maggard in Oklahoma City, and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, Cody Wil
(Misty) German, Choctaw, Oklahoma; a daughter, Gindy Lynn (Randall)
Horn, Blanchard, Oklahoma; a sister, Darcy D. (Dennis) Mausolf, Ubly,
Michigan; and four grandchildren.
A brother, Harvey Maynard German,
preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 1
p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 14, 2018) at Olson's Mortuary, Canton. Inurnment
will take place at a later date in Canton Township Cemetery.
A memorial has been established with
the Kansas Cancer Center-Via Christi, Wichita, in care of the
mortuary.
