Twila Hanley
Obituary
Twila Mae Hanley, 87, died Wednesday
(Nov. 14, 2018) at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.
She was born March 6, 1931, in Sterling
to Walter Marion and Dora Ella (Klingman) Ragland.
She was a member of First United
Methodist Church, U.M.W., the church choir and was the church pianist
for decades.
She was active as a homemaker, school
secretary and managed the Meals on Wheels program in Halstead.
On May 15, 1955, she married Robert J.
Hanley in Hutchinson. He preceded her in death May 7, 1994.
She is survived by sons, William
(Sharon) Hanley of Newton and John Hanley of Wichita; five
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by sons,
Charles and Thomas Hanley; brothers, Marion and Lester Ragland;
half-brother, Charles Ragland; and a half-sister, Wilma Mace.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m.
Monday (Nov. 19, 2018) at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. The family
will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 10:30
a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 20, 2018) at First United Methodist Church,
Halstead. Pastor Sang Hak Lee will officiate. Burial will follow at
Halstead Cemetery.

Methodist Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home.
