Menno Neufeld
Obituary
Menno H. Neufeld, 82, passed away
Monday (Nov. 26, 2018) at his home.
He was born April 5, 1936, in Newton,
the son of Henry and Anna Hiebert Neufeld. Menno grew up in Newton
and graduated high school there.
Menno had been a laborer and owned
Neufeld Appliance for many years. His first wife, Sophie, passed away
in 2002.
He was married to Dorothy Colman on
Sept. 27, 2003, in Newton. They made their home at Marion Reservoir
in 2009. Menno was a member of the Strassburg Baptist Church, rural
Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy;
daughters, Jeanette (Robert) Suther of Hutchinson, Brenda Willard of
Joplin, Missouri, and Denise (George) LeRoux of Alta Vista; a sister,
Leona (Leland) Goering of Moundridge; and four granddaughters:
Kaitlyn Dellwig, Laure Suther and Savannah and Ashtyn Willard.
There will be a visitation with family
present from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 29, 2018) at the
Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. The committal service will be 2:30 p.m.
Thursday at the North Inman Cemetery. The memorial service will be 10
a.m. Friday (Nov. 30, 2018) at the Strassburg Baptist Church, rural
Marion.
