Ruby M. Stucky
Ruby M. Stucky, 82, died
Sunday (Aug. 26, 2007) at her residence in Newton. She was born on March 10,
1925, in Newton to Eugene and Anna (Buller) Myers. She attended Kansas City
Secretarial School in Kansas City, graduating in 1947. When she returned to the
Moundridge area, she worked as a secretary for the Moundridge Co-op. She
married Walter Stucky on March 11, 1949, in rural Moundridge. He preceded her
in death in 1992. They had lived on a small farm near Hillsboro for 37 years. Being
a homemaker, her family and her faith were very important aspects of her life.
She was a member of Newton Bible Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing and
gardening.
Survivors include sons,
Maurice D. Stucky of Venezuela, Byron C. Stucky of Detroit, Mich., Arlen K.
Stucky of Cement City, Mich., and John M. Stucky of Paraguay; daughters, Kathy
A. Stucky of Brazil, Bonnie Sundquist of Newton, and Linda M. Stucky of Newton;
a sister, Mildred Klassen of Winfield; 13 grandchildren; and 15
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
a grandson, Timothy D. Stucky; a brother, William Eugene Myers; and a sister,
Clara Louise Hiebert.
Visitation will be from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton with
family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Service will be at 2:30 p.m.
Thursday at Newton Bible Church in Newton with the Rev. Bob Clark officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

of Kansas in care of the funeral home.
