Larry A. Sundbye
Larry A. Sundbye, 62, died
Saturday (July 14, 2007), of a massive heart attack at his home in Caldwell,
Idaho. He was born Nov. 29, 1944. He was the son of Anthon and Gladys Walters
Sundbye of Halstead. He was a 1962 Halstead High graduate. He married Eddy Jo
Ferry of Hutchinson on Dec. 21, 1965. Two sons were born to the marriage, Kent
Anthon and Darin Andrew Sundbye. He married Donna Bullock in June 1995. In
1975, the family moved to Boise, Idaho. Larry became a professional at shoeing
horses and also was a professional saddle maker. He was in the process of finishing
his 200th custom made saddle when he died.
Survivors include his wife
Donna of the home; sons, Kent Sundbye of Boise, and Darin Sundbye of Nelson,
New Zealand; three granddaughers; sisters Marilee Wear of Laramie, Wyo.,
Carolyn Ropp of San Morcos, Texas, Anita Parks of Orlando, Fla.; and brother
Keith Sundbye of Halstead.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, sister Joy Sundbye, and niece Barbara Joy Wear.
Funeral service will be at 2
p.m. Friday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 642 E. Cleveland, Caldwell, Idaho.
