Margie Dalke
Obituary
Margie D. Dalke, 88, died Monday (Feb.
11, 2019) at Kansas Christian Home, Newton. She was born March 26,
1930, in Hillsboro, to Gus and Salome (Groening) Penner. Margie
graduated from Moundridge High School and attended Bethany College.
She was a homemaker and assisted Robert with the family business.
Margie loved music and was an accomplished pianist and organist.
On June 22, 1950, she married Robert L.
Dalke at the West Zion Mennonite Church in Moundridge. They shared 68
years of marriage.
Margie is survived by husband, Robert
of Newton; sons, Jay Dalke of Newton, Jan Dalke of Hesston and Jim
Dalke and wife Brenda of Moundridge; daughter, Robin Crissey and
husband Robert of Franklin, Tennessee; three grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; brother, Johnnie Penner; sister, Yvonne Beck; son, Lee Mar
Dalke; daughter, Dixie Lee Dalke; and granddaughter, Lauren Crissey.
Cremation is planned. Private memorial
service will be held at a later date.
