Jimmie J. Jones, 83, died February 12,
2019, at The Cedars in McPherson. He was born April 26, 1935, in
Canton, to Archie and Viola (Westbrook) Jones. Before Jimmie retired,
he was a supervisor at AGCO for 43 years.
On September 11, 1955, he married
Pauline Wilkening at Immanuel Lutheran Church. They shared 63 years
of marriage.
Jimmie is survived by: wife, Pauline,
of McPherson; sons, Randall (Sherri) Jones, Galen (Karla) Jones, all
of Canton; grandchildren, Jesse (Mike) Godwin, Dawn (Park) Mastre,
Tawny (Wes) O’Hara, Rick Jones, Kirk Jones, Ashley Jones (Dustin
Slatery); great-grandchildren, Peyton Turner, Kenzee Godwin, Jace
Godwin, Jayci Mastre, Cason Mastre, Taygen O’Hara, Brayden O’Hara,
Chance O’Hara, and Sawyer Slatery.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; infant brother, Richard Jones; and brothers, Max and Billie
Jones.
Cremation is planned. Private memorial
service will take place. Memorials may be made to American Heart
Association, in care of Olson’s Mortuary, PO Box 355, Canton, KS
67428.
