Norman Wenger
MOUNDRIDGE - Norman Wenger,
74, former employee of Redi Gas and a farmer, died Monday (April 3, 2006) at
Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, in Wichita. He was born
Aug. 25, 1931, to Conrad and Anna (Becker) Wenger in rural Moundridge. He
married Virginia Boeckner Jan. 13, 1952, in Hesston. She survives. He was a
lifetime McPherson County resident. He was a member of Lone Tree Church of God
in Christ, Mennonite in rural Galva. Other survivors include: a son, Ron Wenger
of Salina; a daughter, Janet Miller of Swan River, Manitoba, Canada; brothers,
Herby Wenger and Bill Wenger, both of Newton, and Clayton Wenger of Moundridge;
sisters, Mae Wiggers of Moundridge, Ruby Smith of Fairview, Okla., and Della
Schmidt of Montezuma; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by:
brothers, Elton and Milford Wenger; and a sister, Clara Smith Holdeman.

p.m. Wednesday with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge
Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:30
a.m. Thursday at Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in rural Galva
with Ministers Roger Unruh, Eldon Wenger and Merle Wenger officiating.
Burial will be in Lone Tree
Church Cemetery in rural Galva.
