Lola M. Hammar

Lola M. Hammar, 79, died Friday (April 21, 2006) at Newton Medical Center. Survivors include: husband, Dean of the home in Newton; daughters, Merri Day of Abilene and Sharon Goodwin of McPherson; a son, Kerry Goodwin of Abilene; a stepson, Richard Hammar of Winfield; a stepdaughter, Renee Hammar of Newton; a sister, Virginia Swartzendruber of Kalona, Iowa; brothers, Melvin Snyder of Dayton, Ohio, and Richard Snyder of Washington, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; a step-grandchild. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene.
