Bertha Juhnke
HALSTEAD - Bertha Juhnke, 85,
homemaker, died Saturday (April 29, 2006) at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation
Center in Halstead.
She was born May 3, 1921, to
Peter H. and Naomi (Goering) Stucky in Moundridge. She married Carl O. Juhnke
Nov. 30, 1944, in Moundridge. He preceded her in death in 1998.
She had been a resident of
Halstead for four years, moving from Platte City, Mo. She was a 1940 graduate
of Moundridge High School and a member of Faith Community Church in Kansas
City, Mo.
Survivors include: a son,
Fred C. Juhnke of Platte City, Mo.; a daughter, Carol Landis of Leawood; four
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by:
brothers, Milford, Clifford, Orlin and Marvin H. Stucky; and sisters, Martha,
Matilda, Edna, Lorene, Mary Ellen, Ruth and Leona Stucky.
Funeral service will be 11
a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hopefield
Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge.
Visitation will be from 10 to
11 a.m. Wednesday at Moundridge Funeral Home.
