Donald Sloop
Donald Sloop, 56, died
Tuesday (May 2, 2006) at his residence.
He was born Jan. 15, 1950, to
Lawrence and Josephine (Richstatter) Sloop in Newton. They preceded him in
death. He married Barbara Cooper Feb. 8, 1974, in Newton.
He enjoyed fishing,
woodworking and was a reenactor.
Other survivors include: a
sister, Jean (Sloop) Spain; a brother, Larry Sloop; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2
p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery with Buddy Aldridge of Church of Christ
officiating.
Memorials have been
established with Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Broadway Colonial
Funeral Home.
