Thomas Edward Foth
Thomas Edward Foth, 33, died
Tuesday (May 22, 2006) at Via Christi - St. Francis Regional Medical Center in
Wichita.
He was born July 1, 1972, in
Olongapo City, Philippines, next to Subic Bay Naval Base. His birth name was
Noel Olosso, and upon adoption Ed and Susan Foth gave him the name of Thomas
Edward Foth.
He was an employee of the
City of Newton, working primarily with the water department.
Tom grew up in Newton,
attending Roosevelt Grade School, Chisholm Middle School and graduated from
Newton High School in 1990.
He was a very avid Raiders
fan with an extensive collection of Raiders memorabilia. He also enjoyed
playing softball and hanging out with friends that he considered family.
Tom was a great son, brother,
uncle and friend to many and will be missed by everybody who knew him.
Survivors include: father, Ed
Foth and wife Mila of Newton; mother, Susan Spencer of Newton; stepfather,
Dennis Spencer of Newton; sisters, Kristi Rimbey and husband Kevin of
Hutchinson and Heather Foth of Newton; paternal grandmother, Laura Foth of
Newton; and half sisters, Haley Spencer and Ariel Spencer, both of Newton.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petersen
Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1
a.m. Friday at Grace Community Church with Pastor Steve Friesen officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery.
Memorials have been
established with the Tom Foth Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
